A B O U T

Nocturnal dream is the graphics-related journal of aery. It is a public journal, you may friend it but do not have to in order to view the entries. Stuff posted here is mostly LJ related, such as icons, overrides-based layouts, friends only banners and moodthemes. Occasinally, there are wallpapers, banners, and a lot of my resources end up here as well.
The current layout features a stock image by retrodiva combined with some other stocks and brushes by several artists. I've all credited them here. In order to keep the entries somewhat tidy, I make two kinds of posts; updates and archive posts. The archive posts are all dated 03.12.12, because it's easier to keep all of them on one day. I chose that day because it's my birthday, and thus easy to remember for me. I have made seperate posts for all of my graphics, you can find the links on top of my layout. That way, it's a lot easier to find what you're looking for, and you don't have to search all of the entries or memories.



F R I E N D I N G P O L I C Y

This journal started out as friends only, because I'm a paranoid and elitist bitch. However, I made it public because I constantly forgot to make my posts friends only anyway. I used to friend everyone back who friended me, and most of the people who friended me were people from my personal journal's friends list. However, since recently a lot of people I do not know have friended this journal, I have decided to defriend everyone. Why? I'll tell you why, because I don't want to invade your privacy. When friending this journal, you want to see the goodies and graphics I provide, but you do not necessarily want me to read all about your private life. I hardly read my friends list on this journal, but still I find it unfair to all of you, to read all of your journals when you do not want me to. So there, I defriended everyone.
I will however, friend my affiliates, because I like to know who I am affilaited with. I will not only friend their graphics journals/communities, but also their personal ones, because affiliation is more than mere linkage to me, and I like to keep up with my affiliates. So when you want to be affiliates with me, I also expect you to friend me back, both on your graphics journal and on your personal journal.

R U L E S

None. What, none you say? Indeed, I have no rules. I merely have some requests for all who use and enjoy my work, and that is to do the right thing. I don't require credit, I don't require comments to let me know what you took, I will not haunt you down and kill you if you steal my stuff. But I do think that you all know what the right thing to do is, and I just hope that's what you'll do.
There is one thing though - if you hotlink to any of my work I will do something horrible. I really will, because in that case you're stealing the bandwidth of my lovely hostess, and she pays for it, supports me by giving me space, so if you steal it, I will not be nice to you.

R E Q U E S T S

I do not normally take requests!. I take requests when I feel like it, and when I do, I will post an update stating so. You may reply to that update and ask for whatever it is you want, but do not reply randomly and request something from me. It will be ignored. Also, I do require credit for requests, because what I made, was made solely for you only, and I've put a lot of hard work into it. I'll tell you right now that I'm not a credit nazi, and never will be, but I hope once again that you'll do what's right.
